In a quaint village of Haryana lives Miny, a free-spirited tomboy who instantly wins your heart with her bubbly personality. Her father, Bhatti, runs an auto-rickshaw business and is adamant to marry her off against her liking to Sunny. The male protagonist Viren, is a humble and ambitious rickshaw driver working for Miny's father. Bhatti, insecure about Viren's success, sells of all the rickshaws where Viren had carefully stashed his life savings. In an attempt to recover his money from Bhatti, Viren storms into Miny's engagement with fury. This gives Miny the perfect opportunity to escape her marriage and so she stages a kidnap. However, the kidnap goes all wrong and she and Viren land up in Viren's family mansion. Eventually, Miny's father arrives with the ransom that she had asked for and takes her back home. Back in Punjab, while she is being married off to Sunny.

Rahmat, lulusan SMA namuntak mampu melanjutkan studinya ke kuliah karena tidak punya biaya. Sejak umur 7 tahun ia yatim piatu dan diangkat oleh Mba Bunga aliuas Mas Bambang pemilik salon “Mawar”. Meski hidup bersama banci namun Rahmat tumbuh menjadi lelaki tulen yang pintar, baik, soleh dan berbakti.

Salon Mawar berhadapan dengan rumah Ratih, janda muda yang sudah 2 tahun ditinggal mati suaminya. DIam-diam Rahmat menaruuh hati pada Ratih. Namun janda lain yang tinggal di daerah itu, Mpok Sari, naksir berat sama Rahmat. Ia bahkan selalu mengirim makanan ke salon Mawar dan secara sepihak gembar gembor Rahmat adalah calon suaminya, namun Rahmat dengan sopan selalu menolak dan menghindar.

Saking cemburunya, Mpok Sari pun tega melakukan fitnah agar warga memusuhi Ratih. Ratih berusaha menyangkal setiap berita miring tentang dirinya namun Ratih tak punya kekuatan untuk mempertahankan kebenaran.

Meski harus berjuang mati-matian, semangat Rahmat untuk membela Ratih tak pernah surut. Apakah Rahmat berhasil mendapatkan cinta Ratih?

Six years have elapsed since Guantanemo Bay, leaving Harold and Kumar estranged from one another with very different families, friends and lives. But when Kumar arrives on Harold's doorstep during the holiday season with a mysterious package in hand, he inadvertently burns down Harold's father-in-law's beloved Christmas tree. To fix the problem, Harold and Kumar embark on a mission through New York City to find the perfect Christmas tree, once again stumbling into trouble at every single turn.

English Review

Delhi-based Jai Malhotra is engaged to Radhika and their marriage is expected to take place soon, while Mumbai-based Naina Kapoor has a boyfriend in Dhruv and both are also plan to wed. Both travel without their respective lovers to Chandigarh to attend the marriage of Arjun and Gayatri. They meet with Gayatri's grandmother, Bijji, and mingle with others. They also organize a night of entertainment, which is also attended by Dhruv. The festivities turn to sorrow the next day when Bijji unexpectedly passes away. After a brief mourning period, the marriage takes place, and everyone returns to their respective homes. With their minds still fresh from memories and photographs from the wedding, they then experience issues and challenges when they attempt to adjust back into their respective lives.

Based in England, Nikhil Mathur is employed as an Investment Banker and has a idealist girlfriend in Radhika Awasthi. His friend, Jignesh Patel, works as a Security Guard in a mall and is the guardian of Veer, his late sister's son, and under close scrutiny of the Social Services Department. Global recession takes a toll on Nikhil - he not only loses his job but also his investments, while Jignesh gets fired for failing to prevent theft by a minor. Nikhil is unable to find employment and after Jignesh gets fired from yet another job, the duo end up working as male escorts with 'Desi Boyz' as Rocco and Hunter, and bring in enough income to keep them going. Radhika soon finds out and dumps Nikhil, while a Social Worker, Vikrant Mehra, takes custody of Veer and has him placed in a foster home.
